the lab is announced will release a new self-custodial mobile wallet that will offer users the ability to swap in Layer 1 or Layer 2 networks without switching blockchains.
According to Uniswap Labs, the wallet will allow users to check price charts and search for any token on various networks such as Polygon, Arbitrum and Optimism. To ensure maximum security, Uniswap Labs worked with Trail of Bits to audit the wallet. Additionally, the seed phrase and private key for both imported and newly created wallets are encrypted and stored on the device using Apple’s Secure Enclave which excludes them from device backups. Uniswap also shared that users will be able to manually save the seed phrase to a paper copy or encrypt it and store it in iCloud.
